Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ ·       5+ years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or purchasing. Professional certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) are advantageous
∎ ·       Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
∎ ·       Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
∎ ·       Experience with procurement software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Ariba).
∎ ·       Strong understanding of market dynamics, supply chain management, and procurement principles as well as experience in global sourcing and supplier management.
∎ ·       Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with vendors and internal stakeholders.
∎ ·       Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance in procurement.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ ·       Develop and implement procurement strategies to acquire goods and services that support business objectives.
∎ ·       Continuously analyze market trends to identify cost-saving opportunities and reduce procurement expenses.
∎ ·       Ensure a diverse and high-quality supply base, managing supplier performance and development
∎ ·       Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors as well as negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing agreements with suppliers.
∎ ·       Evaluate and monitor supplier performance, ensuring product/service quality, timely deliveries, and contract compliance
∎ ·       Develop, negotiate, and manage procurement contracts also enforce procurement policies and procedures.
∎ ·       Monitor contract renewals and terms to ensure competitive pricing and compliance with the organization’s needs.
∎ ·       Ensure that all procurement activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements
∎ ·       Monitor procurement budgets and forecast needs for materials and services.
∎ ·       Implement best practices to ensure optimal procurement performance in terms of cost, quality, and delivery timelines
∎ ·       Ensure that all procurement processes are transparent, ethical, and comply with internal and external regulations.
∎ ·       Lead and manage the procurement team, providing mentorship and direction.
∎ ·       Work closely with internal stakeholders (e.g., finance, production, legal, and logistics) to ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
∎ ·       Foster a collaborative environment for cross-functional team work, particularly with the supply chain, logistics, and finance teams
∎ ·       Identify and mitigate procurement risks, such as supply chain disruptions, market volatility, or regulatory changes.
∎ ·       Develop contingency plans to ensure continuity of supply and mitigate business risks.
∎ ·       Analyze procurement data to track spending, vendor performance, and procurement trends.
∎ ·       Generate regular procurement reports to inform senior management of procurement performance, savings, and opportunities
