Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Identify & evaluate potential suppliers and vendors.
∎ Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers.
∎ Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
∎ Monitor supplier performance and resolve any issues, disputes or discrepancies.
∎ Create purchase orders and manage the approval process.
∎ Ensure the procurement of high-quality goods, services,materials and services at competitive prices.
∎ Implement inventory control systems and procedures &Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations.
∎ Plan and manage the logistics of inbound and outbound shipments·
∎ Manage customs clearance and compliance with import/export regulations.
∎ Monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual agreements.
∎ Implement strategies to reduce costs without compromising quality or service.
∎ Conduct market research to identify trends and new suppliers.
∎ Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and documentation.
∎ Prepare and present regular reports on procurement and logistics activities.
∎ Job Summary: The Procurement & Logistics Executive is responsible for managing and overseeing the company's supply chain and procurement operations. This includes sourcing and purchasing materials, managing inventory, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring the timely delivery of goods. The role also involves coordinating logistics operations, managing transportation, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
