Requirements:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Prepare draft budgets for each event and submit them to the Accounts Department.
∎ Place orders to suppliers for fabrics like sarees, ornas, shawls, etc., based on event-specific color charts.
∎ Prepare detailed order sheets for all purchases.
∎ Purchase required materials directly from local markets using cash, when necessary.
∎ Visit supplier factories to oversee progress and ensure quality.
∎ Inspect and receive ready fabrics from supplier factories along with the team.
∎ Match received materials with samples and hand over to the raw materials team for production.
∎ Visit producer factories and ensure follow-ups.
∎ Source new suppliers for fabrics and accessories as per company standards.
∎ Procure layout-specific materials in coordination with designers and work on the layout.
∎ Source new producer factories as required.
∎ Maintain updated procurement files and prepare reports regularly.
∎ Provide active assistance to Raw Materials and Merchandising departments.
