Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Read and interpret prescription details from images, faxes, emails, or other digital documents.
∎ Ensure accuracy of prescription information including drug names, dosages, frequency, and patient details.
∎ Input prescription data into internal systems with high attention to detail.
∎ Communicate with pharmacists, healthcare providers, or customers for clarification if needed.
∎ Collaborate with customer service agents to resolve prescription-related queries or issues.
∎ Maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
∎ Escalate discrepancies or concerns to the appropriate department or supervisor.
∎ Support the prescription fulfillment process by ensuring timely and accurate data entry
∎ We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Prescription Reader to join our Customer Service team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately reading, interpreting, and processing prescription information received from customers, pharmacies, or healthcare providers. You will serve as a vital link between patients and the fulfillment process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and delivering excellent service.
