Job Context:
∎ National Energy Services Limited (NESL) a company incorporated in Bangladesh provides a wide range of services for employment of National and Expatriate personnel to Oil & Gas, Telecommunication, Power and Construction sectors in Bangladesh.
∎ One of our prospective client working in infrastructure projects in Bangladesh is looking for services for the mentioned position.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ This position Planning & Program Engineer offered to develop, decide appropriate economic models and engineering methods for the projects. It entails civil engineering, construction along with the entire program of the involved projects. Planning & Program Engineer vested with the onsite assignment for an engineering project to supervise each work stages with adequate solutions as requires. Often need to work full-time alongside a wide number of site managers, surveyors, and engineers, to ensure a project runs on schedule and that materials are sufficient. Report to the Civil Construction Manager.
∎ Execution
∎ -Decides with the engineering techniques key to synchronize the sequences of project stage.
∎ -Sets target/standards activities based on each phase of a project plan and ensure it meets client's specifications.
∎ -Planning engineers make estimations for timescales and costs using specialized design software packages, define Work Breakdown Structure.
∎ -PME & and Reporting
∎ -Daily/Weekly/Monthly reports generate and evaluation is the trendy work culture of Planning & Program Engineer rooted under the Project Monitoring and Evaluation and prompt communications with the concern Department, Manager etc.
∎ -Appropriately tracking and weighing out Project Work Progress with consecutive reporting.
∎ -Comparison between planned progress and actual progress reflects in the report any variances to the project manager.
∎ -Adequate measure, suggestions, advises forward to the PM in reviewing the project progress variances with necessary time-bound corrective action plan.
∎ -Study, apply alternative means and approaches and define, detect, suggests under comprehensive comparisons.
∎ Coordination of project managements to assists
∎ -Analyze expenses and identify cost saving opportunities.
∎ -Make sure complex projects are handled on time and on budget by overseeing the project planning, inventory services, cost control, team leadership, and project management.
∎ Team-work
∎ -Responsible to build a strong teamwork, train them with the required skills.
∎ -Close interaction between subordinates.
∎ -Professional ties between stakeholders
∎ -Maintain Ethical Business relations with the vendors and updates in aligned with Fair Trading
∎ -Periodically attend crucial meetings with the necessary feedback out of its observations.
∎ Proactive leadership role is an essential and key to be the Planning & Program Engineer.
∎ -Thirst for continuous improvement in leading back-to -the-front
∎ -Identify loophole, gaps, lags and lead-period with possible causes and its suggestible remedies to overcome.
∎ -Define the KPI's weighing performance areas and plan activities to increase overall project efficiency.
∎ -Planning to leverage, provide as guide to deliver schedules, facilitate project with uninterrupted resources & supplies, complete execution of strategies, an effective means to timely Project completion.
∎ -Strong understanding of technical engineering principles to predict future problems and solutions.
∎ Specific statement of duties and does not exclude them from the classification if the work is similar, related, or a logical assignment for this classification. Other duties may be required or assigned by the management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ More than 5 year experience Planning Engineering in the Civil Construction with minimum 3 years in senior position.
∎ Familiar with various construction methods and materials their characteristics installation procedures and tolerances.
∎ Previous experience of supervision of multi discipline Project support teams
∎ Experience of working on major Civil/Building works projects
∎ Formal Project Management training/Diploma in Project Planning/ technical qualification
∎ High levels of mathematical and analytical skills with problem-solving is essential to performance
∎ Specialized planning & scheduling software utilization (Primavera and/or MS Project, Projects, Prince-1, Prince-1)
∎ Produce visual presentations, using bar charts and graphs to explain work schedules.
∎ Strong computer skills with applications of Statistical tools, and familiarity with Microsoft office suite of programs.
∎ Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills
∎ Candidates having work experience from Middle East, Southeast Asia in related field shall be preferred.
