Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelors in physiotherapy from an accredited institution
∎ Capability to work both independently as an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct assessment of children with severe and multiple disabilities
∎ Develop personalized physiotherapy plan based on assessment
∎ Administer evidence-based physiotherapy techniques during individual or group session
∎ Work closely with Home Based Education Facilitator (HBEF) to integrate physiotherapy strategies into the overall intervention plan.
∎ Provide comprehensive training to caregivers and equipping them with exercise, techniques and strategies.
∎ Transfer skills and appropriate physiotherapy techniques to HBEF, RRC manager, caregivers and OPD members.
∎ Collaborate with Community support team to raise awareness about the importance of physiotherapy.
∎ Participate in continuous professional development in physiotherapy and related fields.
∎ Regularly update the Project officer on the progress of individual children
∎ Ensure that all documentation is complete, legible and up-to-date, adhering to the project standard and protocols.
∎ Keeping record of all the training session held online and offline
∎ Takes responsibility for meeting commitments and for any shortcomings
∎ Perform any other responsibility/special duty delegated by the management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 40 years
∎ Previous working experiences with children, particularly those with severe and multiple disabilities is highly advantageous.
∎ Experience in working with child development in culturally sensitive approach within diverse community.
∎ Valid certification to practice as a physiotherapist
∎ Excellent interpersonal skill
∎ Basic knowledge of Humanitarian principles
∎ Strong analytical skill
∎ Proficient organizational skill to effectively manage documentation and reporting responsibilities
∎ Experience in implementation of gender and disability sensitive approaches will be an added value.
∎ Must be result oriented and able to work under pressure
Salary:
∎ Tk. 25000 (Monthly)
∎ Monthly gross salary for this position is BDT 25,000.
Travelling allowance: BDT 3500/-(per month).
Prorated basis festival allowances two times in a year.
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ As per company policy.
