Job Context:
∎ This is a joint initiative of Ahsania Mission Cancer & General Hospital and CRID-DAM Robotic Labs. Our center is at the Ahsania Mission Cancer Hospital, Uttara sector 10. This is the first Geriatric Wellness Program in Bangladesh. The program will follow American healthcare standards and protocols.
∎ We are looking for Physical Therapists who has special interest to work in the field of Geriatrics. This will give you the opportunity to work with American researchers in the fields of Geriatrics and the overall wellness of 60 plus aged population. Now we are directly talking to you. There has not been much focus on Geriatrics in Bangladesh and the overall health and wellness of this population.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Being physically fit.
∎ Must be able to select & focus on the targeted exercise needed for the geriatric patients
∎ Conducting free hand exercise of the geriatric patients
∎ Need to have excellent communication and motivational skills
∎ Advising patients on leading a healthy lifestyle
∎ Keeping reports on patients and their progress
∎ Liaising with other healthcare professionals to encourage a holistic approach to treatment
∎ Staying up-to-date with developments in treatments
∎ Being caring, compassionate, and patient.
∎ You have to have a lot of energy and a positive attitude
∎ Must have a good team working skill
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 25 to 50 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
