Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) in Pharmacy
∎ Registration under the Bangladesh Pharmacy Council is mandatory.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure best pharmacy services including good dispensing practices, counseling patients, labeling dispensed medicines, storage of medicines, management of expiry products etc in accordance with the guideline of SMC Model Pharmacy & DGDA.
∎ Ensure that no damaged, counterfeit, substandard or expired medicines are dispensed and every medicine dispensed through the pharmacy is registered by the DGDA.
∎ Ensure that the model pharmacy dispensing and training guidelines/ standards and the existing DGDA laws, ordinances and rules are maintained while dispensing medicines.
∎ Arrange pharmacy stock on shelves/ cabinets and refrigerator for maintaining proper temperature.
∎ Maintain proper documentation including legal documents and records of all products & services and will generate necessary reports as per requirements of the pharmacy management.
∎ Ensure cleanliness of the pharmacy through regular monitoring and also ensure visibility of the products.
∎ Provide efforts to increase revenue towards achieving sustainability in the long run.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ At least 3 years' experience in a similar position, preferably with any model pharmacy, or clinic/ hospital pharmacy.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Record keeping and documentation skills.
∎ Familiar with operating pharmacy software and sound knowledge on MS Office application suite.
