Medicine Dispensing
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure regular inventory and consumption tracking of pharmaceuticals and medical supplies are completed and weekly and monthly report are submitted to the Managing Director.
∎ Ensure an updated inventory of all Controlled Drugs and keep these drugs in a locked cabinet.
∎ Routinely monitor the expiry dates of medicines and ensure FIFO is always maintained.
∎ Keep the pharmacy premises clean and store the medicine appropriately with up to date stock cards.
∎ Organize the pharmacy in a structural way which is easy to dispense and ensure the optimum security of the premises.
∎ Monitor and ensure optimum room temperatures and relative humidity are maintained and charting room temperatures regularly.
∎ Prevent pilferage, physical damage, and contamination of drugs.
∎ Ensure drug stock levels are notified to the line manager to avoid stock out.
∎ Work with other health staffs to ensure clinic areas are appropriately stocked with essential equipment and supplies.
∎ Work with relevant staff to ensure prompt requesting of medical drugs and supplies.
∎ Supervise Pharmacy Assistant if necessary.
∎ Maintain open and professional relationship with team members, promoting a strong team spirit, provide guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions.
∎ Lead Pharmacy Team by serving as a role model, mentor and coach assisting the Senior Pharmacists, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Aides to promote a culture of participation, teamwork, commitment, job satisfaction and achievement.
∎ Communicate policies and initiatives to staff and assist them through leadership, training and feedback to successfully implement them in the Pharmacy operation. Ensure the team has the skills and abilities to meet role requirements.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 5 years of medicine dispensing experience in clinic or hospital preferably in Model Pharmecy.
∎ Understanding of the government rules and regulations of dispensing.
∎ Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and Power point & Easy Billing Software or any other software Management skills.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and team skills.
∎ Must have minimum 5 Years experience with Pharmacy Software Maintenance in the billing section, Software Management reporting, Profit & Loss to the company
Salary: Negotiable
