Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Pharmacy at least "C" grad from any reputed institution
Job Responsibilities:
∎ To dispense & self-check medication for patients, ready to receive a final accuracy check.
∎ To participate in the medication supply and topping-up service at ward/team base level, when required, to ensure adequate stocks are maintained for patient care
∎ To issue dispensed medication to patients, carers or staff.
∎ To be responsible for efficient and safe organisation and workflow in the dispensary
∎ This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities, and the postholder may be required to undertake other duties which fall within the grade of the job, in discussion with the manager.
∎ This job description will be reviewed regularly in the light of changing service requirements and any such changes will be discussed with the postholder.
∎ The postholder is expected to comply with the appropriate Code(s) of Conduct associated with this post.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Good communication skills - both oral and written Good organisational skills, able to meet targets & deadlines
∎ Ability to work under supervision, in a team and independently, as appropriate
∎ Good interpersonal skills
∎ Good aptitude for, and ability to use computers
∎ Knowledge of our business and how it supports patient care
