Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Pharmacy will be preferred or
∎ Completed Diploma in Pharmacy in a recognized College.
∎ Registration with the Pharmacy Council.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Primary Responsibilities
∎
∎ Dispense medicines to all patients according to the doctor's prescription and ensure that the prescription is aligned with diagnosis.
∎ Check all prescriptions for drug interactions, medicine duplication, polypharmacy, contra-indications, allergies, suspected misuse and abuse and follow back with the prescriber for any incomplete prescription.
∎ Provide counselling to patients regarding the proper usage and side effect of prescribed medications with clear instruction on drug dose, strength, frequency, dosage form and quantity in both written and verbal, have the patient demonstrate their understanding
∎ Strongly maintain IPC at pharmacy and health post.
∎ Organize the pharmacy in an efficient manner to make the identification of products easier and faster.
∎ Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration.
∎ Listen carefully to patients to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice
∎ Prepare/ compound medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient
∎ Ensure proper maintenance of stock register/record book ( consumption & storage), Monitor incoming and outgoing weekly orders followed by weekly and monthly report submission to Supervisor/Line Manager.
∎ Ensure an updated inventory of all Controlled Drugs and keep these drugs in a locked cabinet.
∎ Keep all the warehouse records/documents and inventory accurate and up to date.
∎ Routinely monitor the expiry dates of medicines and ensure FEFO/FIFO is always maintained.
∎ Keep the pharmacy premises clean and store the medicine appropriately with up to date stock record books.
∎ Organize the pharmacy in a structural way which is easy to dispense and ensure the optimum security of the premises and drugs.
∎ Monitor and ensure optimum room temperatures and relative humidity are maintained and charting room temperatures regularly.
∎ Prevent theft, physical damage, and contamination of drugs.
∎ Ensure drug stock levels are notified to the line manager to avoid stock out in a timely manner.
∎ Give monthly requisition of medicine and supplies needed for the health post.
∎ Work with other health staff to ensure clinic areas are appropriately stocked with essential equipment and supplies.
∎ Work with relevant staff to ensure prompt requesting of medical drugs and supplies.
∎ Supervise store keeper if necessary
∎ Other Responsibilities
∎
∎ Maintain open and professional relationships with team members, promoting a strong team spirit, provide guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions.
∎ Provide pharmaceutical support and mentorship to other facility staff, providing on-the-job training where necessary.
∎ Maintain good internal and external communication and coordination ( i.e: with other organizations Prepare medical requisition of medicine and medical logistics biweekly.
∎ Coordinate with the Medical Logistic Officer for the procurement process- PR raise & PO issue , knowing the needs of the health post.
∎ Attend monthly team meetings with updated information about pharmacy and challenges with possible mitigation.
∎ Follow up the stock maintenance match with warehouse and pharmacy.
∎ Maintain good communication and coordination with other health facilities.
∎ Any other responsibility assigned by the Line Manager.

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 3 Years working experience as Pharmacistin OT/ Health post/ Primary Health Center/ Rohingya camp desirable.
∎ Experience working in humanitarian settings will be prioritized.
∎ Excellent knowledge of Infection Prevention & Control including sterilization.
∎ Excellent knowledge of patient care and drug delivery.
∎ Exposure to providing IPC training.
∎ Good command over English, Chittagongian & Bangla desirable.
∎ Good knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint .
∎ Excellent organizational, planning, and interpersonal skills
∎ Experience working in a multicultural, low-resource setting
∎ Ability to establish priorities in a time sensitive environment and meet deadlines with strong attention to consistency, detail, and quality.
Salary: Tk. 25000 - 30500 (Monthly)
