Educational Requirements:

∎ Preferred Professional Certification: A Grade Pharmacist

∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Healthcare/Lifestyle product

Job Context:
∎ Dispensing medicine as per doctor`s prescription.
∎ Receiving return medicine physically & electronically.
∎ Making requisition for medicine from store.
∎ Receiving medicines from store & arranging on the store
∎ Incumbent should be creative, hardworking & proficient in team playing.
∎ Reporting to the Pharmacy Services Manager and under the direct supervision of the registered pharmacists, assists in the preparation and filling of medication orders, performs critical pharmacy calculations, compounds non-sterile products using proper technique, and utilizes various software programs and technical equipment.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Completes pharmacy operational requirements by organizing and directing.
∎ Provides pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals and counseling patients on drug therapies.
∎ Develops hospital staff's pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs.
∎ Maintains records for controlled substances and removes outdated and damaged drugs from the pharmacy inventory.
∎ Maintains current registration, studies existing and new legislation, anticipates legislation, and advises management on needed actions.
∎ Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
∎ Providing information and advice about drugs, their side effects, correct dosage, and proper storage.
∎ Keeping records such as pharmacy files, Daily Medicine sales Record Sheet, patient profiles, inventories, and registries of poisons, narcotics or controlled drugs.
∎ Working with other healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, or evaluate the quality or effectiveness of drugs
∎ Ordering and purchasing pharmaceutical supplies, medical supplies, or drugs
∎ Maintaining stock and storing and handling it properly
∎ Advising customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment or healthcare supplies.
