∎ "A" Grade Pharmacist's registration certificate from Pharmacy Council of Bangladesh.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To have a thorough knowledge of generic, brand names and category of all the available drugs.
∎ Greet Patients, Clients, Visitors and Guests and provide service with smile.
∎ To dispense right medicines based on the prescription received after checking the expiry, batch number and the MRP and ensure pleasing service to the customer.
∎ Preparation & issue of the bill against medicines and related items issued from pharmacy to the concerned patient/patient attendant.
∎ Focus on sales and strive to attain the target of the pharmacy.
∎ Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage to patients as needed
∎ Maintain proper documentation as per statutory and functional requirements
∎ Continually keep a track of expiry status for the medicines in the pharmacy
∎ Submission of related MIS report to the Management on a daily basis
∎ To communicate with doctors for the availability of substitute whenever there is an enquiry for the brands which are not available
∎ Proper handling of cash and ensure that there is no discrepancy in the cash or card transaction during the shift.
∎ To co-ordinate with supervisor for procurement and storage of medications as per the day to day requirements.
∎ To work with the Pharma aid for the removal of near expiry, non moving stocks and to report the same to the supervisors and to monitor storage conditions of the drug.
∎ To give feedback on slow moving and fast moving drugs. Bouncing of prescriptions to be noted and highlighted to the In charge.
∎ To maintain correct inventory of stock as per the system stock and assist in stock audit.

As the eye care sector was growing rapidly in Bangladesh, a specialized hospital for the treatment of eye related diseases was much needed. It is the best eye care institute of the country and coordinates the provision of specialized ophthalmological services with emphasis on quality & affordability.
Bangladesh Eye Hospital Ltd. (BEH) first started from a rented 5 storied building at Dhanmondi Road No. 6. To meet the increasing demand for clinical services and research, BEH moved to its own new facility at Shatmasjid Road, Dhamnondi, on the 10th October of the year 2012.
With the promise and commitment in eye care, Bangladesh Eye Hospital Ltd. is now serving from 9 branches located in Dhanmondi, Banani, Uttara, Chittagong, Shantinagar, Khulna, Zigatola, Mirpur and a non-profit “Bangladesh Eye Trust Hospital” in Rayerbazar.
All these have enhanced the BEH’s capabilities to deliver world-class cost effective eye care to meet the increasing demand and to expand its role in the eye care sector of Bangladesh.
