∎ Experience: Minimum 6-8 years of experience as a professional makeup artist, preferably with experience working for high-profile clients or in the beauty industry.
∎ Certification: Certification or formal training in Makeup Artistry is preferred.
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Exceptional time management and punctuality.
∎ Ability to work flexible hours and travel if required for events.
∎ Technical Skills: Proficiency in various makeup techniques, including contouring, airbrushing, color correction, and specialty makeup applications.
∎ Product Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of a wide range of makeup products, skincare, and tools, including luxury and hypoallergenic brands.
∎ Creativity: A strong sense of creativity and the ability to adapt looks to meet client preferences and event requirements.
∎ Professionalism and Discretion: Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Makeup Application: Apply a variety of makeup looks for the client, ranging from natural day looks to glamorous evening looks, based on the client’s needs.
∎ Customization: Assess the client's skin type, tone, and preferences to create customized makeup plans for various occasions, including everyday wear, business events, social gatherings, and photoshoots.
∎ Trend Awareness: Stay up-to-date with current makeup and beauty trends, incorporating new techniques and products into services as appropriate.
∎ Skin Preparation: Prepare the client's skin with appropriate skincare products before makeup application to ensure a smooth finish and long-lasting wear.
∎ Product Knowledge: Recommend and maintain a stock of high-quality makeup and skincare products that suit the client's skin type and preferences.
∎ Maintenance and Touch-ups: Provide touch-up services during events or photoshoots, ensuring the makeup remains flawless throughout.
∎ Health & Hygiene: Adhere to the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation practices with all makeup tools and products.
∎ Grooming Services: Provide additional grooming services, such as hairstyling or basic skin care routines, as requested.
∎ Client Consultation: Regularly consult with the client to discuss desired outcomes, preferred looks, and any specific makeup styles for different occasions.
