Job Context:

∎ One of our prospective client working in infrastructure projects in Bangladesh is looking for services for the mentioned position.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ PBB/BHS Inspectorrequires advanced supervisory level of construction field engineering which monitors the field construction of fast-track General Contractor's (GC) special system projects. Provides technical expertise to construction oversight. The Inspector is normally employed for field engineering assignments requiring exceptional construction knowledge and/or specialization in several fields of construction engineering. Supporting in review of design and Execution of Airport Systems like BHS, PBB, VDGS, Security screening equipment, Elevators and escalators works with high level of safety & quality.
∎ Handle multiple parallel construction activities related to Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) and Passenger Boarding Bridges (PBB) with emphasis placed on:
∎ BHS:
∎ I. Mechanical installations
∎ II. Electrical installations
∎ III. PLC and all other controls
∎ IV. Integration with security screening equipment
∎ V. Testing and certification
∎ PBB
∎ I. Fixed and moveable bridge installation
∎ II. PC Air
∎ III. 400Hz power
∎ IV. Potable water
∎ V. Aircraft docking guidance systems
∎ Coordination with Area Managers, other Resident Engineers and subcontractors associated with system installation such as interior and MEP disciplines.
∎ Supervise and manage systems engineers and inspectors to ensure compliance of the installations with drawings and specifications
∎ Resolve project design issues and construction conflicts. Use designers, trade specialists and interface control methods for resolution of technical issues.
∎ Monitor construction budgets, including contingency, construction costs, and administration.
∎ Serve as construction management liaison between designer and GC, through the Construction Manager, for review of requirements, specifications, and drawings for construct ability.
∎ Provide recommendations for solutions to technical issues during design, construction, commissioning, and turn over.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the Project Management.

Additional Requirements:
∎ More than 5 year experiences in construction and/or engineering assignmentsoverall with a minimum 2 year experiences Electrical work in infrastructure and construction projects in airport. Prior experience in management of a minimum of two (2) large and complex tilt tray baggage handling systems. General knowledge of BHS controls systems. Prior experience in integrating BHS with in-line high capacity security screening equipment is highly expected.

∎ Excellent computer skills in ITand familiar with Microsoft office suite of programs.
∎ English written and oral communications required.
∎ Candidates having work experience from Middle East, Southeast Asia in related field shall be preferred.
