∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Registered A Grade Pharmacist. (Must)
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Providing information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage, and proper medication storage.
∎ Dispensing medications as prescribed by doctors and dentists directly to customers.
∎ Advising customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment, or healthcare supplies.
∎ Validating prescription order entry (VP-1), properly labeling, and filling of medication orders (VP-2).
∎ Ensuring compliance with FDA and manufacturer for Pharmacovigilance activities.
∎ Initial information gathering regarding patient's medication histories and communicating pertinent information to the physician to avoid any drug effects.
∎ Verifying prescription's authenticity.
∎ Seeking clarification regarding prescription discrepancies when necessary.
∎ In-case of drug related claims by patient, filling the Pharmacovigilance report accordingly.
∎ Monitoring the patients total drug therapy for: Effectiveness, Side-effects, Toxicities, Allergic drug reactions, Drug interactions, Appropriate patient outcomes etc.
∎ Preparing medications for intravenous administration (IV).
∎ Assisting customers to use devices such as blood pressure or diabetes monitors.
∎ Handling narcotic, psychotropic and controlled medicine.
∎ Ensuring proper stock storage inside the store as per company protocol.
∎ Checking day closing and cash transaction, maintaining cash handover register and ensuring cash handover to account.
∎ Monitoring & Recording of Temperature of specific drugs in the Pharmacy as per guideline.
∎ Arranging the stocks according to the category and agency.
∎ Checking expiry manually including stock expiry on a monthly basis.
∎ Conducting Perpetual stock taking on a monthly basis and making shortage entry in the register for the reorder of level.
∎ Maintaining records, such as pharmacy files, inventories, registries of narcotics, or controlled drugs.
∎ Taking care of issues related to the software.
∎ Updating records of stocks received from the suppliers.
∎ Management of short expiry medication. Communicating with the walk-in customers about the services & plans & take active part in promotional campaigns to promote customer care & loyalty programs as suggested by management.
