Job Responsibilities:
∎ Transport of Patient
∎ Carrying the patient with care from hospital to hospital / home to hospital / hospital to home / accident site to hospital by ambulance services.
∎ In case of any kind of emergency situation treating the patient in the ambulance in consultation with doctors.
∎ 1.Extended Responsibilities:
∎ Extending help in areas of Emergency for patient care.
∎ Responsible for quality patient-care as established by the Department;
∎ 2.Performs all other tasks as required by the department.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 23 to 25 years
∎ Carries out all instructions effectively and efficiently.
∎ Good technical knowledge and skill.
∎ Recognizes and analyses the patient needs
∎ On duty in the Accident and Emergency Department and Ambulance services is responsible for carrying out the care plan as per the order of physician in charge of the patient
∎ Responsible to administer medications after following the six rights of medications
∎ Ensures patient safety and care during transfer of the patient to and from other Hospitals and Departments
∎ Maintains effective communication with physician on duty at hospital to relate patient condition and obtain orders for treatment;
∎ Responsible for quality patient-care as established by the Department;
∎ Maintains his / her professional dignity at all times
