Clinical Nursing, Hospital, Hospital and clinic, Hospital Nurse, Surgical Nursing
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Diagnostic Centre, Hospital
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collaborate with surgical teams, including surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and technicians, to schedule and coordinate surgeries.
∎ Ensure that the OT is adequately staffed with trained personnel and that necessary equipment and supplies are available for each procedure.
∎ Ensure & maintain all Standard Operational Procedures.
∎ Schedule surgeries, taking into account surgeon availability, patient needs, and OT availability.
∎ Oversee the preparation of the operating room, including sterilization, equipment setup, and ensuring that all required instruments and supplies are available.
∎ Ensure that all safety protocols and infection control measures are followed within the OT, including the use of sterile techniques and adherence to hospital policies.
∎ Be prepared to handle emergencies and unexpected situations during surgery, including equipment malfunctions and changes in patient condition.
∎ Maintain accurate records of surgical procedures, patient information, and equipment usage. Ensure that documentation is complete and up-to-date.
∎ Provide training and education to OT staff to ensure that they are knowledgeable about the latest surgical techniques, equipment, and safety procedures.
∎ Assist in budget planning and control for the OT, including inventory management and cost-effective resource allocation.
∎ Ensure that the OT operates in compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards, including those set by healthcare authorities and organizations.
∎ Communicate with patients and their families regarding surgical procedures, preoperative instructions, and postoperative care.
