Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 35 years
∎ 7 to 10 years of proven experience as an OT Incharge or in a similar role in a reputed hospital in Bangladesh.
∎ Strong leadership and communication skills.
∎ In-depth knowledge of OT procedures, surgical protocols, and safety regulations.
∎ Familiarity with hospital management software and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Oversee the daily operations of the OT to ensure smooth and efficient surgical processes.
∎ Coordinate with surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other medical professionals to ensure readiness and availability of the OT.
∎ Schedule and manage OT timetables, ensuring that surgeries are planned and conducted without delays.
∎ Supervise the sterilization of surgical instruments and the preparation of surgical rooms.
∎ Manage, supervise, and mentor OT personnel, including nurses and support staff.
∎ Assign duties and responsibilities to OT staff, ensuring full team engagement and compliance with procedures.
∎ Conduct regular training for OT staff on new procedures, protocols, and safety measures.
∎ Ensure that all OT activities follow safety standards, infection control policies, and hospital regulations.
∎ Maintain a sterile environment in the OT by enforcing strict hygiene and sanitation protocols.
∎ Conduct regular checks to ensure all OT equipment is functioning properly and in compliance with safety standards.
∎ Oversee the inventory of surgical instruments, supplies, and medications required for the OT.
∎ Collaborate with the procurement team for timely replenishment of surgical and medical supplies.
∎ Ensure that all OT equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and replaced as needed.
∎ Liaise with pre-operative and post-operative units to ensure smooth patient transitions.
∎ Ensure patient safety and well-being during OT procedures, following strict guidelines.
∎ Address and resolve any issues related to patient care within the OT.
∎ Maintain accurate records of OT schedules, procedures, and personnel shifts.
∎ Prepare reports on OT efficiency, staff performance, and patient safety measures.
∎ Collaborate with hospital management on budget preparation and resource allocation for OT operations.
