Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Applied Physics or EEE
Experience Requirements:
∎ 1 to 3 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Ellipsometer, Image processing, Interferometers, MATLAB
Job Context:
∎ Ability to do data analysis, software/hardware interaction using MATLAB
∎ programming language. Experienced with COMSOL or other FEM software for
∎ optical simulation.
∎ Interferometry experience, including understanding the principles, fringe
∎ algorithm, building tools, writing codes, doing the measurements.
∎ Photo elasticity and optical stress experience, including understanding the
∎ principles, fringe algorithm, building tools, writing codes, doing the
∎ measurements.
∎ Ability to install, troubleshoot and repair optical systems in the field. Hands-on
∎ experience with the optical alignment of the free space (lens) optics. Align and
∎ optimize optical modules & subsystems
∎ Raman experience, Photoluminescence experience a plus. Understanding of
∎ grating spectrometers.
∎ Have strong knowledge on Semiconductor Math, Physics, Optical science
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Data analysis and Algorithm development on MATLAB.
∎ Work with optical microscopy, Lasers, Fiber optic, Interferometers, Ellipsometer.
∎ Maintain the imaging systems, CCD and CMOS cameras.
∎ Optical set up and data analysis for silicon wafer film stress.
