Education:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

Requirements:

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ • Professional certification in OHS (e.g. NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) and/or Process Safety (e.g. CCPS, CSP) is preferred.
∎ • Certification of OHS Management Systems (ISO 45001:2018) is preferred.
∎ • Strong knowledge of safety regulations, risk assessment techniques, and incident investigation methods.
∎ • Proficiency in using safety management software and tools.
∎ • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
∎ • Ability to conduct training sessions and influence a strong safety culture.
∎

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ • Develop, implement, and enforce occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
∎ • Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards.
∎ • Ensure compliance with local and international OHS laws, standards, and best practices.
∎ • Organize and conduct safety training and awareness programs for employees.
∎ • Investigate workplace accidents, near-misses, and safety incidents, and recommend corrective actions.
∎ • Maintain safety records, reports, and documentation as required by regulatory bodies.
∎ • Implement and maintain Process Safety Management (PSM) systems in line with industry standards.
∎ • Ensure proper handling, storage, and transportation of hazardous materials.
∎ • Review and approve process changes to mitigate safety risks.
∎ • Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and first-aid procedures.
