  • Retired Bangladesh Fire Service & Civil Defence (FSCD) and Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) JCO having experience in the related field will be given priority.·      

  • Fire safety related professional training.

  • Certification on Fire Safety, Industrial Firefighting, or Emergency Management is preferable.

  • Good knowledge about “The Fire Prevention and Firefighting Act of 2003”.      

  • Physically fit and able to respond to emergencies.

  • Minimum Height: 5’6” (168 cm).



Responsibilities & Context:

Bashundhara Oil and Gas Company Ltd. (BOGCL), is looking for competent candidate for the Position of "Officer (Fire)" at Hazaribagh, South Keraniganj, Dhaka.

  • Lead firefighting and rescue operations during emergencies.

  • Ensure operational fitness of the fireman and the team.

  • Monitor and maintain all fire protection systems (firetruck, hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, etc.).

  • Implement and monitor fire prevention measures in line with company policy, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Bangladesh National Building Code (BNBC), and local regulations.

  • Conduct regular fire safety inspections of facilities, warehouses, plants, and office premises and ensure compliance with statutory rules and company standards.

  • Organize fire drills, evacuation exercises, and awareness training.

  • Maintain records of inspections, equipment servicing, and fire incidents.

  • Coordinate with government authorities (Fire Service & Civil Defense etc.), support HSE audits and certification processes.

  • Synchronize the firefighting team efforts/ activities with other team of HSE.
