Job Context:
∎ Terre des hommes Foundation (Tdh) is the leading Swiss NGO focusing on child rights. It is active in more than 30 countries with development and emergency projects. Tdh focuses its action on the two following areas of intervention: health and protection of particularly vulnerable children. Modern management and communication tools ensure the quality of Tdh`s projects. The Foundation constantly aims to improve its services. Following the massive displacement of more than 6,00,000 people into Bangladesh since end of August 2017, Tdh has put in place an important response plan to provide relief to the Rohingya refugees, notably on health and nutrition, WASH and protection.
∎ POSITION SUMMARY:
∎ CLARISSA Hub has been setup for CLARISSA field operations and located near to Hazaribag, one of the key programme locations. CLARISSA Hub will be primarily used by social protection and participatory action research team of CLARISSA, which is also the base for the three Lead Community Mobilisers and 30 Community Mobilisers. Moreover, the hub is a flexible working space for all the team members of CLARISSA in-country partners for collaborative and individual work. Besides, monthly coordination meetings, workshops, trainings to be held at the hub as appropriate. Some of the AR group activities and activities related to children`s research groups, children`s clubs could also be hold at the hub.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Office Caretaker is required for the maintenance of the office premises. To keep the premises clean to an acceptable standard, provide refreshments to the team members, maintain inventory and register, and play a supportive role during meeting, training & workshop.
∎ SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
∎ Open and close the hub office and maintain entrance for internal/external visitors
∎ Keep and maintain the office premises, all equipment, washrooms clean and hygienic
∎ Refill the water filter and clean the kitchen area
∎ Serve and arrange lunch, water, tea, coffee etc. to office staff
∎ Maintain an information book, visitor's comments book, staff movement register
∎ Support line manager to maintain and update the asset register
∎ Support line manager to maintain office supplies
∎ Support line manager to maintain office filing and storage system
∎ Support staff member to Operate Photocopy/scanner machine if required
∎ Provide logistics support during workshop, meeting, training, session in office and out office as required
∎ Provide support work for the Tdh Delegation Office as and when required advised by line manager
∎ Perform work related errands as requested such as going to the bank, Tdh Delegation Office or any other offices
∎ Comply to the usage of Fire Extinguisher, first aid box, safety security, official culture, safeguarding policy, emergency contacts etc.
∎ Support line manager to maintenance and repairing of any equipment, materials of Hub office
∎ The responsibilities and duties are subject to reasonable change at any time and in any circumstances in the interest of the organization.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 years' experience of supporting programme as cleaner/caretaker/clerical assistant
∎ Demonstrate a high degree of honesty, integrity and interpersonal skills
∎ Fluent in Bengali language. Good in Bengali written and reading skills
∎ Ability and willingness to work on a flexible schedule
∎ Ability to work in a collaborative and mixed skill teams (e.g. researchers and practitioners)
∎ Skills in negotiation, problem-solving and decision-making
∎ Strong organizational and time management skills, including the ability to manage a complex workload
∎ Ability to work under limited supervision
