Educational Requirements:
∎ Master's degree in nutrition, food sciences or public health as well as specialized training in Nutrition are required or another relevant discipline from an accredited university.

Job Context:
∎ Project : Collective Responsibility, Action and Accountability for Improved Nutrition (CRAAIN) project supported by Concern Worldwide Bangladesh
∎ Assignment period : Up to Closing of the project (30 Dec, 2022)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide technical support to implementation team with regard to child, maternal and adolescent nutrition to implement designed project or interventions in a planned way with quality and standard to achieve project objectives.
∎
∎ Implementation standard of nutrition interventions designed, developed/reviewed and disseminated among the implementation teams and partners to ensure quality implementation of designed nutrition governance project.
∎ Quality assurance mechanism for nutrition governance project developed with necessary guidelines and tools along with specific feedback mechanism that continuously improve the nutrition activities and interventions to achieve the project objectives.
∎ Quality monitoring and field visits are conducted as per plan to track and observe the progress of nutrition indicators and practices, identify constraints and provide immediate guideline for further improvement to implementation team. Field visit reports are produced and shared with all concern.

∎ Develop and coordinate innovation in nutrition communication and training packages/manuals harmonized with Govt. package and capacity building of field staffs of consortium partner staffs, key Govt. officers and service providers through ToT, training, on the job training on the developed training packages/manuals.

∎ Conduct training need assessment of 4 key Govt. line departments together with Concern's Nutrition Coordinator and Nutrition Advisor and IPHN
∎ Develop/review training/orientation package (Project orientation, Basic nutrition, nutrition sensitive intervention, safety net services, nutrition and role of coordination mechanism, monitor nutritional status, nutrition integration etc.) and its necessary guidelines with quality following systematic process, reviewing existing document and in consultation with Concern's Nutrition Coordinator and Nutrition Advisor and IPHN.
∎ Conduct training/ToT/orientation on the above issues to project staffs, key Govt. line department staffs, UP members, DNCC and UNCC members, NGO trainers, CSO members, youth leaders and pharmacist and quack doctors in consultation with Concern's Nutrition Coordinator and Nutrition Advisor and IPHN
∎ Develop/review SBCC materials and materials for mass communication on nutrition with necessary guidelines with specify the aim, objectives and activities, meeting the quality standard together with SBCC specialist of Consortium partner.
∎
∎ Create evidences on nutrition with proper documentation for program quality and disseminate internally and externally in a user-friendly manner.
∎
∎ Establish mechanisms to share and manage information (project information, recent research findings etc.) are established that support reflection and learning.
∎ Develop different technical documents and reports including best practices, case study, assessment report, survey findings, evaluation reports, action research etc.
∎ Contribute in technical team in documenting program reports.
∎
∎ Represent the project in different forums, networks, technical committees of government and non-government on nutrition to increase its profile internally/externally through communication and networking at subnational level.
∎
∎ Maintain liaisons with subnational level forums and networks on nutrition.
∎ Actively participate in different networks/workshops/seminars/meetings as a representative of consortium to foster change and learning at subnational and national level.
∎ Actively represent in different government non-government technical committees and consortium role recognized as important credible partner.
∎ Provide support to costal consortium team as per plan to organize subnational national level events by costal consortium.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Desirable Criteria : Age should be under or equal 40 years. Age will be relaxed in terms of highly qualified candidates.
∎ At least 5 years progressively responsible work experience in any reputed development organization including 3 years in relevant position in the area of community and right based nutrition programme planning, management, implementation, monitoring and capacity building.
∎ Demonstrated experience of working with local level government structures to strengthen the capacity of the state to take ownership for and deliver services.
∎ Ability to represent the nutrition programme at sub national level and engage and influence key stakeholders (Govt. civil society, privet sector) at sub national level.
∎ Proven technical knowledge and skill in child, maternal and adolescent nutrition especially on Govt. system strengthening to provide guidance to field staff on community and right based nutrition interventions.
∎ Self-motivated and results orientated.
∎ Strong communication skills in English, with substantial experience in managing multicultural teams
∎ Excellent partnership skills and the ability to interact effectively with civil society, media, privet sector, collaborating agencies, local and government partners
∎ Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy-in
∎ Qualification : Computer skill, communication skills, reporting in English.
