Job Responsibilities:
∎ Consult and triage patients that are not in need of referral
∎ Provide appropriate treatments, including for uncomplicated malaria, diarrhoea and pneumonia for adults, and for under 5s as per IMCI protocols
∎ Dispense drugs to the patients as needed and in accordance with MMT treatment protocols, including provision of information to patients on drug use
∎ Balance stock cards after every transaction and ensure they are up to date at all times
∎ Check and maintain a record of drug expiry dates
∎ Completion and timely submission of drug inventory and consumption reports
∎ Work closely with the support vehicle driver/ logistician to ensure no stock outs
∎ Prevent physical damage and contamination of drugs
∎ Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control measures
∎ Perform additional procedures and duties as assigned by the Medical Assistant

Additional Requirements:
∎ Proven ability to work well within a team
∎ Proven ability to work well in high pressure situations
∎ Experience working in an emergency medical environment
∎ Registered and accredited nurse
∎ Excellent written and spoken English language skills
∎ Ability to communicate in Rohingya or Chittagong Bengali is an asset (desirable)
∎ Experience working in a Search-and-Rescue/ humanitarian context (desirable)

Salary: Tk. 42000 (Monthly)

From there, MOAS will deliver much-needed humanitarian assistance and aid to the Rohingya people, and will work to provide a platform for transparency, advocacy and accountability in the region where a deadly exodus is unfolding on the border between Bangladesh and Myanmar.
