Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ B.Sc in Geology/ Masters in Petrophysics

Experience Requirements:
∎ 10 to 12 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ • Creation of a detailed record (well log) of a borehole by examining the bits of rock or sediment brought to the surface by the circulating drilling medium.
∎ • Collecting and describing ditch cuttings which are geologically significant for Oil/Gas accumulation.
∎ • Monitoring gas flow out from the well, these gases are detected as a total value, and then are analyzed to their components.
∎ • Inform all relevant personnel of all pit gains, losses, gas/oil shows, drilling breaks and further any observed anomalies in drilling parameters.
∎ • Monitoring all hole and pipe displacements while tripping-in or out of the hole.
∎ • Generate the mud logs and reports during the drilling operation of the well.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 40 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ 1. Computer literacy in Microsoft Office Applications including MS Word, MS Excel, MS Power Point and MS outlook.
∎ 2. Ability to demonstrate technical aptitude. Must processes good communication skill, arithmetic, data entry and recording skills, Must have successfully passed company tests, or met task guideline requirements. This is a field position.
