Educational Requirements:
∎ Diploma in Midwifery
∎ Permanent registration from BNMC
Job Context:
∎ Duty station: Dhaka (Bashundhara Residential Area)
∎ Reporting to: Managing Consultant
∎ Project Duration: 12 months
∎ Contract type: Contractual
∎ Workdays and time: Weekly 4-6 roster duties including morning, evening or night shifts.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide health advice and support to pregnant mother over telephone
∎ Follow up of pregnant women as needed
∎ Document all relevant health information of pregnant women in an electronic medical record system
∎ Refer pregnant mothers to telemedicine doctors for additional information beyond the scope of the midwife
∎ Refer pregnant mother into a network of facilities for health care support
∎ Attend different pieces of training as needed
Additional Requirements:
∎ 1-2 years of experience will be an added advantage
∎ Great communication skills
∎ Good computer skill
∎ Empathy for patients
