LAMB is a well-run major mission Hospital, Community Health Development, Training and Research organization. Services cover more than 6.3 million people in North West Bangladesh.

There is a vacancy for the following contractual position under the Community Health and Development Program (CHDP) for the Stop Suffering Female Genital Fistula (SSFGF) Phase-III Project.

Job Location: Jahajer Alga CC/SDU, Ulipur, Kurigram.

Job Summary:

The Midwife will provide quality midwifery care to all patients in accordance with the spiritual values of LAMB and demonstrate leadership responsibility to nursing staff. She will primarily care for pregnant mothers and ensure the availability of essential midwifery services on a 24/7 basis, including total patient care, conducting laboratory tests, follow-up of Expected Delivery Dates (EDD), Postnatal Care (PNC), and providing counseling services to adolescents. The Midwife will adhere to Child and Vulnerable Adult Protection Policies and will be responsible for reporting any allegation, concern, suspicion, or disclosure of abuse or neglect to the appropriate authorities, in line with organizational policy.
