∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ Applicants should have experience in Hotel MEP Services.
∎ The ideal candidate should well be conversant with reading, understanding drawings and coordinating with other disciplines, agencies and foreign consultants.
∎ Previous hotel Experience will be an added advantage.
∎ Should be experienced in AutoCAD and MS office and others related software.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Review of Plans, MEP systems interrelationships, construction sequencing and project schedule.
∎ Coordinates drawing supervision of MEP execution as per the design, specification and all applicable standards whether local, national, or international standards.
∎ Resolving Issues with coordinating with consultant, contractors, project managers and all related disciplines. Facilitate problem solving, as may arise, between MEP Contractors during construction.
∎ Validate design issues related to MEP and suggest alternative solutions in guidance with consultant input. Assist in the receipt and review of MEP submittals.
∎ Log and post all MEP changes and as-built information on field drawings.
∎ Assist in the scope review, budgeting and justification of MEP change work order. Assist in the installation of MEP work.
∎ Direct, monitor and control the activities of MEP Contractors. Liaison with Consultant, Contractors, Project Manger.
∎ Ensure that MEP Contractors provides and adheres to relevant Quality documentation/records. Ensure that MEP Contractors adheres to Project safety regulations.
∎ Assist in the testing and commissioning of MEP equipment.
∎ Serve as project leader to coordinate efforts of managers, engineers, drafters, and manufacturing personnel during all project phases.
∎ Responsible for all HVAC, Firefighting & Plumbing, Sanitary and drainage works includes STP, WTP, Lift, Kitchen & Laundry equipment works. Based on the direction time to time you need to assist the Manager on the work assigned on daily basis.
∎ Ensure that the NBC, SMACNA & ASHRAE standards are followed and necessary compliance is mandatory.
∎ Co-ordination with all vendor’s sub-contractors and vendors for the quality of works at site.
∎ Liaise with consultants, contractors and Project Manager.
∎ To provide and check the bench marks, levels and reference in line to the structural, ID finishes in co-ordination with Civil & ID Engineer.
∎ Highlight the design issues and site clashes and suggest alternate solutions in guidance with Project Manager and Consultants input.
∎ Ensure all works are carried out as per approved design drawings, documents, contract technical specifications and quality plans as per local and international standards.
∎ Responsible and ensure that the correct method statement followed along with the checklist in place.
∎ Verify and approve the samples, execution plan, etc.
∎ Verify the materials received at site, carry out material inspection as per the approved samples, compare and comply.
∎ Highlight the quality non-compliance and issue a non-compliance report when notice any deviations/variance at site.
∎ Maintain the joint measurements, contractor bills, material reconciliation and will report & assist the Manager on the day to day activities.
∎ Monitor the material availability at site and forecast the material requirement and inform the Project Manager in advance.
∎ Meet the Project schedule and targets as assigned by the Manager and raise the flag on missing targets.
∎ Ensure safety and implement safe practice and make the site accident free zone.
∎ Co-ordination with Civil, Interiors and Electrical department and ensure smooth flow of works.
∎ Review the Daily, weekly & monthly reports submitted by the contractors and ensure targets are achieved as per the project schedule.
∎ To monitor the quality and necessary tests carried during work progress as part of testing and commissioning process.
∎ Maintain the log book, check list, incoming material register, technical submittals, manufacture test reports and catalogue.
∎ Ensure and attend the tools box meet and PEP talks every week.
∎ To supervise the pressure test, smoke test, ultra sound test and DPT test.
∎ To supervise and report the overall project progress to your reporting Manager.
