∎ Should have license from Bangladesh pharmacy council.

∎ At least 2 years experience of working as a medicine dispenser preferably in an emergency response project/programme.
∎ Ability to understand prescriptions.
∎ In depth knowledge of medication dosage and potential side effects.
∎ Strong numerical skills.
∎ Attention to detail.

∎ Good communication and inter personal skills.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Dispense Prescriptions.
∎ Organize and manage the medicine store including the date of expiry of medicine.
∎ Communicate with Pharmacist and Medical Officer.
∎ Ensure Patients' Safety.
∎ Ensure patient’s understanding of medical prescriptions.
∎ Stock Management.
∎ Maintain diligently all records including Stock Register & Challans.
∎ Ensure quality of medicines provided to patients.
∎ Ensuring that the provider of medicines is within the law.
∎ Ensuring that the medicines prescribed to patients are suitable.
∎ Advising patients about medicines, including how to take them, what reactions may occur and answering patients' questions.
∎ Ensure stock management and proper record keeping.
∎ Ensure medicine shelf life.
