∎ Age 28 to 35 years
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Operate and maintain imaging equipment, such as X-rays, CT (Computed Tomography) scanners, MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) machines, and ultrasound devices.
∎ Perform imaging studies based on physician orders, ensuring the appropriate protocols are followed.
∎ Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
∎ Monitor patients during procedures to ensure their safety and well-being.
∎ Administer contrast agents as needed under the supervision of a physician, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines.
∎ Adjust imaging equipment settings to optimize image quality while minimizing radiation exposure.
∎ Review images for clarity, accuracy, and proper coverage of the area being examined.
∎ Collaborate with radiologists to identify any additional imaging needs.
∎ Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment.
∎ Maintain accurate patient records, including imaging procedures performed and observations.
∎ Follow all safety protocols to minimize exposure to radiation for patients, staff, and self.
∎ In-depth knowledge of imaging equipment and procedures.
∎ Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
∎ Excellent attention to detail to ensure image quality and accuracy.
∎ Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care.
∎ Problem-solving and technical troubleshooting skills.
∎ Position patients correctly to capture accurate and clear images while ensuring their comfort, safety.
