Job Responsibilities:
∎ Conduct a wide range of laboratory tests on patient samples, including blood, urine, tissue, and other bodily fluids, using advanced laboratory equipment and techniques.
∎ Perform tests such as hematology, microbiology, chemistry, immunology, and molecular diagnostics.
∎ Collect and prepare patient specimens for analysis, ensuring proper labeling, storage, and transportation to maintain sample integrity.
∎ Adhere to strict quality control procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
∎ Operate and maintain complex laboratory instruments, including analyzers, microscopes, and computerized equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision in testing.
∎ Troubleshoot instrument malfunctions and perform basic maintenance tasks.
∎ Analyze test results and interpret findings, identifying any abnormalities or deviations from normal ranges.
∎ Accurately record and report test results, maintaining thorough documentation in accordance with laboratory protocols.
∎ Follow established laboratory protocols and standards to ensure the accuracy, reliability, and validity of test results.
∎ Participate in quality control and quality assurance programs to monitor and maintain the laboratory's accuracy and proficiency.
