Education:
∎ Diploma in Medical Technology (Dentistry) from recognized IHT.
Requirements:
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 years of relevant experience.
∎ Excellent communication skill and desire to learn.
∎ High commitment & motivation to work in remote places specially in riverine areas.
∎ Strong interpersonal skills.
∎ Sound knowledge on computer operation specially MS Office with good typing skill.
∎ Skill and Competencies:
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Giving treatment in outdoor.
∎ Assist in OT.
∎ Pre & Post operative care.
∎ Autoclaving/sterilizing.
∎ Stock management of Eye department.
∎ Reporting.
∎ Meet and greet each and every patient.
∎ Responsible for dental patient’s management & treatment during regular hospital service.
∎ Responsible for sterilization of dental instruments regularly with maintaining register.
∎ Responsible for maintenance of stock register and daily uses materials.
∎ Responsible for preparing of monthly requisition.
∎ Responsible for preparing of monthly report.
∎ Responsible for preparing BCC action plan, estimated budget in consultation with Program manager Health during dental camp.
∎ Dental patient selection & listing in computer for dental camp & complicated emergency dental cases referred to medical college hospital in dental department.
∎ Maintenance of daily stock register and daily user materials in dental unit.
∎ Selecting and listing of dental patients for dental camp.
∎ Referring the emergency complicated cases to dental unit of medical college hospital.
∎ Preparation of monthly/quarterly requisition which are needed in dental unit.
∎ Maintain daily departmental quality checklist and preserve it.
∎ Helping Local/International dentists during camps.
∎ Cleanliness of dental unit as per infection control protocol.
∎ Segregate waste and dispose of it in proper manner.
∎ Participation in BCC, Counseling & Health education.
∎ Appropriately follow safeguarding policy and code of conduct of the organization.
∎ Any work assigned by line manager.
