Educational Requirements:
∎ Completed university degree from an accredited academic institution in Medical Science as a Medical Doctor (MBBS/MD) and registered by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC)
∎ Master in Public Health will get preference

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensuring outpatient and/or inpatient medical care to patients/beneficiaries according to adapted and updated medical knowledge, organization/ health sector/government protocols.
∎ Achieving delegated tasks and responsibilities including from administrative to the coordination of work according to the instruction of the authority.
∎ Ensuring adequate program management in the projects, as instructed according to protocols.
∎ Work towards the achievement of the organizational goals in Bangladesh, operating through effective coordination and lateral relations and teamwork;
∎ Abide by and work in accordance with the organizational principles and values;
∎ Maintain an efficient and harmonious working environment among employees, partners etc.;
∎ Capacity building of other clinical staff including nurses and midwives.
∎ Take part in training opportunities.
∎ Perform other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Experienced as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work (can be within medical training). Desirable in tropical medicine, or post-registration experience and knowledge in obs and gynae, paediatrics, A, infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS/STDs, TB, general practice, general medicine or minor surgery, clinical care of patients in IPD/OPD, medical emergencies.
∎ Proficient in the English language. Local language desirable.
∎ Competencies: People Management, Commitment, Flexibility, Results, Teamwork, cultural adaptation.
∎ Experience with refugee health is an advantage.
∎ Knowledge and experience with working in public health sector in medical emergencies or humanitarian crisis will be added advantages.
∎ Previous experience in development project at an international organization is an advantage.

Salary:
∎ As per organization`s national pay scale policy in Bangladesh.
