Job Context:
∎ TRiO Connections is looking for a qualified and experienced Medical Officer (MO) to be recruited immediately to support its medical tourism program for referring patients / clients / individuals to overseas hospitals / healthcare institutions.
∎ The Medical Officer will be responsible for identifying, assessing, helping potential patients / clients / individuals who are planning for seeking specialized medical opinions & treatment abroad for their healthy life. His/her primary role is to ensure that the patient / client referral process is smooth and consistent with the company`s strict guidelines. The MO will have to work & maintain relationship with hospitals & healthcare institutes abroad especially in India, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore & other countries towards regular successful patient/client referrals.
∎ Job Nature: Full-time with limited in-country and overseas travel (if / where necessary).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Providing patients / clients with updated, accurate & sufficient information about different treatment / assessment options available in different hospitals / healthcare institutions abroad and their available out-patient, in-patient medical services, doctors, & other services as per their requirements.
∎ Counseling patients / clients proactively to identify their medical needs, including listening on their medical history, assessing their medical records, and helping them to make an informed decision.
∎ Must oversee all aspects of a client / patient seeking medical care abroad especially from choosing overseas hospitals / healthcare institutions, communicate with the representative(s) of those hospitals / healthcare institutions, help in preparing visa application & supporting documents, and confirm referrals ensuring that the process runs smoothly.
∎ Supporting patients/ clients by submitting client / patient & their attendant(s) visa application & necessary documents to respective embassy or high commission for processing & collecting visas.
∎ Preparing marketing plan at a monthly basis under guidance of Director (Marketing) including target of counselling & referrals and implement marketing activities as per plan & target set.
∎ Responsible in organizing seminars in Dhaka & different cities in Bangladesh on specific health issue(s) including ensuring logistical arrangements to make the seminars a success.
∎ Supporting in developing the Facebook page & Website, updating the Facebook page & Website of the company routinely and especially when an update will need to be uploaded incorporating photos / videos, update or new information & data etc.
∎ Conducting other marketing / promotional activities like - sending voice / SMS to potential clients / individuals, distributing flyers / brochures, gifts etc.
∎ Creating & maintaining an excellent personal relationship with patients / clients & their close ones for follow-up and colleagues within the company for good teamwork.
∎ Maintaining patients/ clients records at TRiO office with highest confidentiality.
∎ Any other assignments, as advised by the Seniors / management.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 22 to 28 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply

∎ Well conversant in both written and spoken English.
∎ At least 2 year(s). Experience in medical tourism will be considered as a strong skill.
∎ Sound communication knowledge on MS word, MS excel, MS power point, internet, zoom, MS teams and other programs.
∎ Experience in scheduling & co-facilitating online Zoom meetings will be an added advantage.
∎ Experience in social media marketing especially facebook, X (twitter), Instagram, what's app, messenger, etc. Skills on developing social media contents will be considered as an added advantage.
∎ Should be honest & sincere in financial management and cash handling.
∎ Having a strong work ethic, motivational drive and experience at a marketing level.
