Educational Requirements:
∎ Master of Science (MSc)
∎ MBBS from any recognized medical college having registration with BMDC.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Responsible for factory employee's health care & coordinating for Implementation / follow policies / procedures / SOP related to Occupational health & medical services related administrative work.
∎ Ensure overall health and safety issues in the factories and perform health checkup of workers and staff periodically
∎ Medical fitness test, age estimation at the time of recruitment
∎ Conduct awareness programs on OHSE, HIV & sessional diseases.
∎ First Aid & Emergency Care / CPR.
∎ Liaison with government and private hospital / clinic in case of emergency medical purpose.
∎ Manage the factory Health Centre and convey all kind of medical related report to the reporting authority.
∎ Address medical problems of the workers as well as any industrial health related problems i.e. monitoring hazards, use of PPE, biological monitoring, etc.
∎ Provide first aid to emergency patients and take necessary actions to refer them to specialize nearby hospitals for better management (if required) with information to the factory management.
∎ Conduct health hygiene & risk assessment for the site by an Industrial Hygienist.
∎ Must have capability of perception regarding medical waste management.
∎ Medicine maintenance as per compliance requirements.
∎ Providing First Aid and other treatment to employees suffering from illness or injuries.
∎ Counseling of employees individually or in group based on outcomes of PME.
∎ Provide emergency care to the employees in case of workplace related injuries, illness and exposure.
∎ Keep records of sickness, injury or accidents with their analysis to prevent them to a minimum level.
∎ Discharge any work assigned by higher authority as and when required.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at least 25 years
∎ Only females are allowed to apply
∎ Clinical skills in emergency medicine, intensive care are also required.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
∎ Should have excellent patient management skills.
∎ Should have ability to correspond accurately with buyers & audits.
∎ Computer literate (MS office).
