Job Context:
∎ Samahar is a leading institute that conducts large-scale research with funding from the Government of Bangladesh, the World Bank, ADB, JICA, and various development partners. Samahar is inviting applications for the position of Medical Officer from eligible Bangladeshi talented for the for separate two project: (i) "Urban Primary Health Care Services Delivery Project" and (ii) "Health Care Center at Padma Multipurpose Bridge". Both Medical Officer(s) will responsible to execute the plan and run the day-to-day activities on health care services with the priority of enhancing the productivity and sustainability while ensuring the client focused environment and standard of quality. Lead the team by motivating them to their goals & support them in identifying their improvement areas & coach them to enhance their skill/capacity. Female applicant will get preference.
∎ Job Location: Laksam UPHCSDP-II Project, Cumilla and Padma Multipurpose Bridge Project, Mawa, Munshigonj
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Manage emergency cases, conduct complication deliveries, perform Caesarian operation, provide on the job training to junior doctors and paramedics.
∎ Performa Minor gynecological operation, Regular ward round.
∎ Arrange Scientific Seminar and maintain license with other hospitals.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Experience in urban health programming will be an added advantage for this position
∎ A female Medical officer would get priority. Should have experience in private sector/NGO managed hospital/clinics
∎ Team player, excellent interpersonal & communication skill, analytical skills, self-organizing capacity. Open to ideas and contributions from others.
