Job Responsibilities:
∎ Muslim Hands International, Bangladesh is registered with the Bureau of NGO Affairs working in different sectors i.e. education, WASH, health, livelihood, child protection, poverty alleviation and disaster relief program since 1995. Our donor Muslim Hands UK is an international relief and development NGO, established in 1993 working both directly and with partners in over forty countries, carrying out short and long-term projects in emergency relief, educational and vocational training, orphan sponsorship, medical care and safe water.
∎ I. Summary of Position: We are seeking a highly capable medical officer to manage our medical team and to supervise the healthcare services that they provide. In this role, your duties will include serving as a clinical advisor, overseeing clinical trials, and maintaining high standards of inpatient care.
∎ II. Essential job duties
∎ Conduct routine medical check-ups for children at the center.
∎ Diagnose illnesses and injuries and provide appropriate medical treatment.
∎ Administer vaccinations and ensure that children's immunization records are up-to-date.
∎ Maintain accurate medical records for all children under your care.
∎ Develop and deliver health education programs for children, caregivers, and staff.
∎ Promote hygiene and sanitation practices to prevent the spread of diseases.
∎ Provide guidance on nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.
∎ Be prepared to respond to medical emergencies promptly and effectively.
∎ Collaborate with local healthcare facilities in the event of serious medical issues requiring specialized care.
∎ Work closely with other healthcare professionals, caregivers, and the child care center team to create a supportive and nurturing environment for children.
∎ Coordinate with external healthcare providers and agencies when necessary.
∎ Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
∎ Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and reports.
