Job Context:
∎ Beacon Point is the first International Standard drug addiction treatment & rehabilitation center in Bangladesh. Beacon Point has been set up to help the still suffering addicts, alcoholics and their families. It is located in the aristocratic area of Gulshan-1, Dhaka, Bangladesh where you will find the most comprehensive and International standard treatment program. Beacon Point facility has been designed and standardized to ensure mental wellness of the clients that will help for their complete recovery.
∎ To meet our growing demand and services, we are looking for young, smart, talented people to join this winning team as for the following positions:
∎ Job Location - BEACON POINT, House No- 4, Road No- 23A, Gulshan-1, Dhaka.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assessment of clients' needs, abilities or behavior using a variety of methods under the guidance of Consultant and Head of medical services
∎ Provide treatment for patient's suffering from severe and common psychiatric disorders
∎ Provide supervision to nursing staff and ward boy
∎ Ensure that proper information of treatment and follow up are collected in order to monitor the provision of care
∎ Establish collaboration/ communication with external medical specialties
∎ Maintain the highest regard for patient dignity and observe the precepts of the Medical Ethics on Rights for patients
∎ Formulate and plan for psychological intervention and psycho-social rehabilitation by using different theoretical approaches/ models to treat various mental health problems of children, adolescents and adults
∎ Involve in conducting individual psychotherapy sessions, behavior modification, family therapy and crisis intervention as and when needed
Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum one-year specialized training in psychiatry.
∎ Capacity to work in a multidisciplinary team.
∎ Sound knowledge in MS Office.
∎ Strong interpersonal and communication skill.
