Educational Requirements:
∎ Candidate should have MBBS from any accredited academic institution; and registered with a valid working license by Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 2 year(s)
Job Context:
∎ Duration of contract: Upto 31-12-2023 (with possibility of extension).
∎ Reportable To : Health & PSS Manager, PMO, Cox`s Bazar.
∎ Duty station: Teknaf MCH Center, Cox`s Bazar.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Major responsibilities of the Medical Officer will be as under:
∎ To run the MCH Center maintaining Government and BDRCS standard.
∎ Provide adequate Medical Treatment of the patients for (both host and guest community).
∎ Clinical Services and counseling.
∎ Supervision overall activities of the MCH Center.
∎ Quality Management System & Quality Assurance of the MCH center.
∎ Staff controlling support.
∎ Administrative & Financial controlling support.
∎ Laboratory maintenance of the MCH Center.
∎ Training & Development of the staffs.
∎ Any other tasks assigned by the authority.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Should have two years working experience in hospitals/ clinics/ health centers/ general practice, etc.
∎ Ability to work independently as well as part of a multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary team.
∎ Ability to work in a rural setting.
∎ Good computer skills, especially in MS Office and data entry templates.
∎ Good coordination skills and ability to cope with stress.
∎ Fluency in both spoken and written Bangla and English languages.
∎ Adhere to the 7 fundamental principles of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.
∎ Act at all times in accordance with the Code of Conduct of RCRC Movement.
∎ Priority will be given to the candidates who demonstrate a high level of motivation and good communication and interpersonal skills.
∎ Honesty and high level of professional integrity.
∎ Age Limit :42 years (may be relaxed in case of outstanding candidates)
Salary:
∎ Up to BDT. 100,000/= (Consolidated).
