∎ Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery(MBBS)

Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Providing individualized instruction to patients on how to monitor their blood sugar levels and adjust their diets accordingly.
∎ Reviewing patient records to determine whether the patient is meeting treatment goals.
∎ Performing clinical assessments, such as measuring height and weight, taking blood pressure, checking feet for signs of injury or infection, and administering tests for glycated hemoglobin levels.
∎ Educating patients on how to manage their disease by following a healthy diet plan and getting regular exercise.
∎ Teaching patients how to inject insulin or other medications using proper techniques to avoid infections or other complications.
∎ Teaching basic principles of nutrition, meal planning, food selection, vitamins and minerals, and how to read food labels.
∎ Providing patients with information about community resources such as support groups or social service agencies that can help them manage their conditions.
