Educational Requirements:
∎ Medical Assistant or Nursing diploma/certificate.
∎ Qualified Paramedic with Paramedic diploma/certificate
Job Context:
∎ The MA is a member will be responsible for supporting the implementation of the Primary healthcare activities in UH& FWC, under the Quick Medical Response for the new Rohingya Influx Project). (S)He will ensure the delivery of high-quality emergency and primary healthcare activities to the local catchment population including child health and sexual and reproductive healthcare services.
∎ Under the supervision of the Medical Doctor and in-conjunction with other healthcare staff, the MA/Paramedic will be responsible for the delivery of basic medical care, and in particular
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Provide direct clinical care, working closely with the other clinical staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality emergency and primary healthcare services
∎ Triage, screening, and assessment of patients
∎ Provision of inpatient and outpatient treatment (where possible), ensuring medications are given to patients as prescribed by the Medical Doctor
∎ Delivery of hygiene promotion, health education, and patient/caregiver counseling
∎ Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control measures
Salary: Tk. 30000 - 35000 (Monthly)
