Job Responsibilities:
∎ General:
∎ Field manager are on-site technicians who troubleshoot issues and problems with equipment or systems. They can work in a variety of different sectors depending on the area of engineering they specialize in. This job involves applying theories to address problems, writing reports to outline these issues and solutions, and working with companies to help develop more efficient systems. This job is well suited to analytical and critical thinkers who can apply logic and theories to problems, have the patience to find resolutions to complex issues, and have strong communication skills.
∎ Roles & Responsibilities:
∎ Engineering Matters:
∎ Should have a good enough knowledge of GT/ST and Generator and power plant process & systems.
∎ Should check up drawing status and expedite to get IFC drawings to meet construction schedule.
∎ Keep monitoring revision of Mech. vendor drawings and other disciplines' for cross check up.
∎ Maintaining the latest IFC drawing at site. • •
∎ Managing field change and as built with related engineer in HQ.
∎ Verifying a design of temporary structure for equipment installation.
∎ Procurement:
∎ Should have an experience of GT/ST and Generator materials(including Special Tools & Spare Parts)
∎ Managing delivery schedule, laydown area, unloading resources and preservation conditions.
∎ Monitoring all of equipment's preservation conditions as per vendor requirements.
∎ Managing MRI, MRR and OS&D. • •
∎ Reporting OS&D concerns to site team and HQ to proceed further action. •
∎ Managing field repair works, shortage materials, variation orders & purchase orders.
∎ Managing materials status to make sure work front at site. •
∎ Coordinating of materials issue to subcontractor and managing special tools & spare parts.
∎ Construction:
∎ Who is very specialist for GT/ST and Generator(especially, GE machines) with more than 20 years experiences( including min. 3 overseas projects)
∎ Should make Method Statement, ITP, Risk Assessment, L4 construction schedule by himself
∎ Verifying subcontract documents and SOW to avoid any VO/Claims.
∎ Managing field work progress and reporting daily/weekly/monthly progress.
∎ Managing & Reporting all of GT/ST and Generator maintenance works.
∎ Cooperating vendor TFA, service provider and suppliers to do maintenance works.
∎ Managing all kinds of Inspections with related parties on time.
∎ Verifying lifting plan, safety concerns and preparation of erection works.
∎ Monitoring field progress then doing further action(ex, make a catch up plan, resources reinforce plan & etc.)
∎ Verifying subcontractors' invoice as per actual progress.
∎ Coordinating variation order and claims. •
∎ Managing & Controlling all of QHSE concerns with related disciplines & parties.
∎ Managing periodic inspection of construction equipment & tools.
∎ Verifying network volume based on the latest IFC drawings.
∎ Preparing alternative method of site works to reduce time & resources.
∎ Skills and Qualifications

∎ Should be strong communicators who are able to talk with SCT HQ, Subcontractors & Clients
∎ and explain complex issues.
∎ Critical Thinking
∎ Must use technical basis logic to solve issues and develop more efficient systems.
∎ Diagnostic Abilities
∎ A key aspect of field engineer's daily duties is diagnosing problems with existing drawing, materials
∎ & equipment and finding solutions to them, so great diagnostic abilities are essential.
∎ Problem-Solving Skills
∎ Should provide technical support for different project, including the testing and maintenance
∎ of materials, equipment & systems, so good problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are mandatory.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 45 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Who is very specialist for GT/ST and Generator(especially, GE machines) with more

∎ Academic background : Bachelor Degree (4 years) or Masters' Degree graduated in Mechanical Engineering
∎ Foreign Language : - Excellent English reading, writing, listening and speaking ability
∎ Excellent in Chinese Speaking, Writing & Reading
∎ Remarks:
∎ Age not more than 50 years
