Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings and bills of materials (BOM)
∎ Perform part and assembly level tolerance analysis, motion, and performance studies.
∎ Create product specification, detail design and build a prototype
∎ Create test plans, design test equipment, and undertake testing procedures to verify design performance.
∎ Work closely with Process Engineering through the creation of verification /validation/reliability protocols as well as successful testing, data generation, report and documentation
∎ Create documentation and specifications suitable for prototyping, quoting, and production.
∎ Work closely with the hardware, thermal, software, machine shops, supply chain, and outside vendors/partner teams to ensure project goals and schedules are met.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 30 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Bachelor's degree in mechanical or mechatronics engineering or equivalent industry experience.
∎ Deep knowledge of GD&T as well as proficiency with CAD tools (SolidWorks or other CAD tools)
∎ Experience with creating engineering drawings, BOMs and product specifications
∎ Experience with precision mechanisms, pneumatics, fixtures /tooling, and mechanical components such as motors, belts/pulleys, gears, actuators, sensors, etc.
∎ Knowledge of material properties, heat treatment, and surface finish
∎ Knowledge and/or hands-on experience with machine shop tools
∎ Knowledge in computer programming in C, Java, and python
∎ Experience in electro-mechanical product design and development, or manufacturing engineering experience.
∎ Experience in sheet metal, injection molding, extrusion, complex-shaped plastic, and die-cast parts is preferred.
∎ Creative, self-motivated, flexible to work in a small company environment and assume a wide variety of tasks
∎ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
∎ Excellent verbal, written, presentation, documentation and interpersonal skills
∎ Experienced user of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Project tool
