Educational Requirements:
∎ Actively pursuing a BS in Mechatronics Engineering or related field of study (i.e. Mechanical Engineering).
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Involved with the design, fabrication and modification of mechanical and/or electromechanical components, sub-systems and systems.
∎ Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems
∎ Ability to work independently under the supervision of others
∎ Provide regular reporting of progress and status
∎ Responsible for completion of assigned task on time and meeting technical requirements
∎ Review customer specifications and requirements, and under direction, develop designs to best support them, including cost as a key design variable
∎ Support the program design to cost and design for manufacture requirements.
∎ Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Highly skilled at designing and need at least 1 year of active working experience and must play with the team to produce all aspects of successful product development from the initial specification, through to developing.
∎ Technical Requirements:
∎ Experience with 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks. Alternate CAD/CAM software experience will also be considered.
∎ Experience with mechanical project prototyping and manufacturing skills.
∎ Embedded Platform Development
∎ Familiarity with electrical and mechanical principles regarding sensors, controls and signal processing
∎ Excellent oral and written communication skills to support regular interactions with sponsors, peer reviewers, and others for report and proposal preparation.
∎ C++ and Python experience
∎ Experience 1 year but qualified freshers are welcome to apply.
Salary: Negotiable
