∎ NESL now invites applications from competent candidates for the post of Material Coordinator for employment with our prospective clients working in oil and gas industry.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Physically receive incoming shipments, unload from the truck, dismantle, check and ensure 3-way matching as per PR/PO/packing list/delivery challan. Arrange communication for QA/QC & ensure Engineering Inspection Record (EIR) for the new item(s). Issue the materials to respective customer per SO/WO. Keep track of direct materials through excel file. Update the JDE system according to Inventory & Spare Parts Management (ISPM) / Facility Integrity & Reliability Management (FIRM) process and ensure proper documentation/filling for future reference and auditing support. (2) Organize receiving of surplus materials upon request from end user through cycle count & Material Tracking Form (MTF).
∎ Work as area controller and supervise lifting/rigging jobs & heavy equipment (forklift, cargo crane and crane) operations. Educate the daily workforce (labor, rigger & helper) with warehouse safe work practices (WSWP).
∎ Coordinate and ensure mitigation of local logistics and transportation issues with internal and external C&F agents.
∎ Take part in Planning Phase Hazard Analysis (PPHA) and Job Safety Analysis (JSA) development for every single new job & input SWA (Stop Work Authority) once available.
∎ Contribute to environmental stewardship through timely disposing of scraps (wood, metal, plastic, chemicals, etc.).
∎ Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports coordinating with warehouse officer & others.
∎ Monitor preservation, cycle count activities & all daily inventory transactions and identify, report, and take actions for any anomalies.
∎ Ensure timely cycle counts, stock-take, and materials reconciliation in a defined interval.
∎ Communicate/update/train warehouse and other personnel on warehouse related processes. For example: Investment Recovery and Inventory Solutions (IRIS), Warehouse Safe Work Practices (WSWP), Inventory & Spare Parts Management (ISPM).
∎ Maintain close relationship with all stakeholders and ensure material is ordered with right specifications and quantity and within due time.
∎ Coordinate with procurement and logistics team to ensure timely delivery of each order and expedite.
∎ Coordinate with finance team to close out/receive long pending/UOS&D PO or invoice item (SO/S1/ST) as per periodic MIT reconciliation report.
∎ Track record for every single associated value creation.
∎ Assist warehouse office/material supervisor to find out obsolete items. Keep records to proceed further for write off/next course of action.
∎ Create UOS&D and follow up with buyer & logistics team.
∎ Create Purchase Requisition (PR) of the non-stock materials through SMART for MM (Material Management) team and as well as for other departments as per requirement.
Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 5-7 Years of experience in material management/ warehousing, preferably in oil & gas industry.
