∎ Familiarity with garment construction and pattern cutting;

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Very good knowledge of Denim garments. (Bottom, Shirt & Jacket);
∎ Create markers manually or using CAD software efficiency above 88%;
∎ Arrange pattern pieces to maximize fabric utilization and minimize wastage;
∎ Adjust marker layout based on fabric type, grain direction, and pattern repeat;
∎ Read and interpret technical specifications, patterns, and cutting instructions;
∎ Work closely with pattern makers and designers to understand product requirements;
∎ Identify fabric width, defects, nap direction, and other characteristics affecting layout;
∎ Recommend layout adjustments based on fabric stretch, texture, or design;
∎ Maintain records of marker efficiency, fabric usage, and layout details;
∎ Tag markers and completed layouts appropriately for cutting team reference;
∎ Coordinate with the cutting team to ensure clear understanding of layout instructions;
∎ Work with sample, planning and cutting departments for smooth work floor;
∎ Review completed markers for accuracy;
∎ Ensure marker alignment complies with quality standards and production needs;
∎ Operate marker-making tools or software (e.g., Gerber & Lectra);
∎ Maintain tools and equipment in good working order;
∎ Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Management.
