Responsibilities & Context:
4cheez — Management Trainee: Key Job Responsibilities
Customer Management — Learn professional customer handling, greeting, service, complaint resolution, and customer experience management directly on the floor.
Sales Development — Build practical sales skills by taking orders, understanding customer preferences, upselling, cross-selling, and increasing average order value.
POS Operation — Master POS order taking, KOT, discounts, voids, payments, billing, and daily sales reporting.
Floor Operations — Learn and execute complete floor service from customer seating and order taking to food serving, table management, billing, and farewell.
SOP Implementation — Learn, follow, and monitor SOPs across all restaurant sections to maintain consistent service and quality.
Kitchen & Beverage Training — Rotate through kitchen and beverage sections to understand food preparation, quality control, portioning, hygiene, and service timing.
Inventory & Cost Control — Learn stock management, FIFO, wastage control, food cost, portion control, purchasing, and inventory procedures.
Staff & Team Management — Develop skills in staff coordination, task allocation, communication, coaching, and basic conflict management.
Sales & Performance Analysis — Monitor daily sales, order volume, average order value, best-selling products, slow-moving items, and identify opportunities to improve sales.
Problem Solving & Customer Feedback — Identify operational problems, understand their root causes, collect customer feedback, and recommend practical improvements.
Opening & Closing Operations — Learn complete restaurant opening, cash/POS reconciliation, cleaning, stock checks, and closing procedures.
Leadership Development — Progressively take responsibility for shifts and sections with the goal of becoming capable of independently managing a restaurant and eventually leading multi-outlet operations.
