Job Context:
∎ A renowned Knit composite Textile Plant is looking for potential candidate as Manager/Sr. Manager (Maintenance)- Mechanical at its factory in Mawna, Gazipur.
∎ The factory is producing 25 tons grey fabric & 30 tons of dyed finished fabric per day and having 2500 sewing machines.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ The selected candidate will lead the mechanical maintenance team and will be responsible to ensure proper functioning and maintenance of all Machinery and Mechanical appliances of the factory independently.
∎ The candidate should have thorough practical knowledge on preventive & routine maintenance work of Different modern Textile Machineries (Knitting, Dyeing, Printing ,Washing etc.), Boilers, Compressors, Generators etc.
∎ Major Jobs of the position includes the following:
∎ Lead and monitor the activities of the team members and provide necessary guideline to them for performing the jobs effectively
∎ Develop effective plans & procedures to provide effective maintenance related support in the required arenas
∎ Maintain all the equipment/machineries of the factory in proper working condition to ensure optimum production in all segments.
∎ Plan & execute preventive maintenance as per schedule and enforce those through maintenance staff
∎ Evaluate & monitor the operation parameters and take immediate corrective action
∎ Identify areas for improvement and assign workers to take care of issues
∎ Ensure timely availability of spares for breakdown & preventive maintenance
∎ Identify & implement various measures to improve efficiency of the machineries
∎ Impart effective Training to subordinates related to safety & related job.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ BSc. Engineer (Mechanical), having minimum 08 years of experience to work in Maintenance department in a reputed knit composite garments factory(s), out of which minimum 02 years in Managerial position are only encouraged to apply.
∎ The candidates should be capable to lead a professional Maintenance team effectively & efficiently.
∎ The candidate should have strong personality, proven leadership & trouble shooting skills
∎ The candidate should be self-motivated, sincere and result oriented
