Education:
∎ Education
∎ Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
∎ Experience
∎ At least 08 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or related functions, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing or FMCG industry.
∎ Additional Requirements
∎ • Strong understanding of local and international procurement processes.
∎ • Experience with forecasting and planning for raw materials and packaging.
∎ • Strong negotiation skills and vendor relationship management.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Import of All Materials and Primary Packaging Materials
∎ Prepare a 12-month forecast for raw materials and primary packaging materials.
∎ Ensure the timely and cost-effective opening of LCs and material supply to the plant as per the forecast.
∎ Local Procurement of Raw Materials (RM) and Packaging Materials (PM)
∎ Prepare forecasts for local procurement of RM and PM based on production forecasts for the next two months.
∎ Supervise and ensure timely, cost-effective delivery of RM & PM.
∎ Collaborate with the finance department to ensure timely payments to vendors.
∎ New Product Development
∎ Work closely with the Product Development (PD) and Marketing teams to source new molecules.
∎ Ensure timely availability of new molecules for product development.
∎ Plant & Machinery Purchases and Maintenance
∎ Supervise the purchasing of plant machinery, equipment, and spare parts.
∎ Oversee repairs, calibration, and validation processes for machinery.
∎ E-commerce and Herbal Products
∎ Supervise and follow up on the purchasing of herbal-based food items for the e-commerce business.
∎ Purchasing of Maintenance and Construction Materials
∎ Oversee the purchasing of spares, electrical, and electronics items for maintenance.
∎ Manage the procurement of materials for construction (civil, electrical, mechanical).
∎ Head Office and Factory Supplies
∎ Supervise the local purchase of promotional printing materials, stationery, furniture, and other office supplies for the head office, factory, and distribution departmentsSkills & Expertise• Strong expertise in procurement and supply chain management.• Proficiency in managing both local and international suppliers.• Excellent organizational and negotiation skills.• Knowledge of pharmaceutical and FMCG industries is a plus.
